6 Years of NextHome Neighbors

Six years ago, Gonzalo and I made a decision—we wanted to build something of our own. We had both been in real estate for years, and we saw an opportunity to create a brokerage that truly put clients first. So in 2019, we launched NextHome Neighbors.

What started as a team of just Gonzalo, myself, and Kristen Anderson has grown into a brokerage with over 15 agents, a dedicated transaction coordinator, and multiple specialized teams—including my own, Amy Egaña Group. But from day one, our approach hasn’t changed: treat people well, do the right thing, and provide a level of service that makes clients want to tell their friends and family about us.

Rooted in East Texas

Tyler is home. I grew up here, and Gonzalo and I have built our life and business here. We know this market inside and out, and we take pride in helping people find the right home in the right community.

But we also believe in giving back. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to support local organizations like the East Texas Symphony Orchestra, Tyler Young Life, East Texas Crisis Center, and The Women’s Fund. This community has been good to us, and we’re always looking for ways to pay that forward.

What’s Next for NextHome Neighbors?

Six years in, and we’re just getting started. We’ve grown, we’ve learned, and we’ve built something we’re proud of. But the goal remains the same—to provide the best possible experience for our clients and continue building a brokerage that stands out in East Texas.
